Location Overview

Located nine miles north of Laughlin on the Arizona side of Lake Mohave, Katherine landing features RV facilities, boat rentals , boat slips, launch ramp, picnic area, marina, dry storage, restaurant, snack bar, general store and other resort amenities. Boat rentals range from personal watercrafts to 16-foot fishing boats to 18 foot runabouts for waterskiing and exploring, 24-foot patio boats and house boats that sleep up to 14 people.

About the Job



  • Provide guidance in all areas of financial management, policies and procedures under the direction of Corporate.
  • Provide management with a full range of fiscal services and management tools as is required in the hospitality and recreational industry.
  • Manage and audit daily/monthly receipts for operation
  • Oversee and direct all accounting, cash handling staff in all related functions.
  • Establish and oversee all daily/monthly accounting activities and insure operational compliance including:  General accounting, revenue reporting, cash handling and control,  Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Receivables, Inventory, and Internal Audits.
  • Establish and maintain business and internal controls.
  • Maintain accounting procedural manual (SOPs).
  • Oversee all property operating systems.
  • Setup and maintain all accounting functions for existing and/or new software systems in cooperation with Corporate Director of Accounting, and Director of Information Technology.
  • Responsible to manage and safe guard property change fund/safes in adherence to corporate cash handling standards as well as internal control standards, including scheduled and unscheduled safe and cashier bank counts.
  • Complete all month-end accounting on a timely and accurate bases, as defined by Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit.
  • Supervise daily performance of assigned employees in performance of cash handling functions and procedures.
  • Oversee general office operations and activities.
  • Serve as primary auditor contact for activities including but not limited to: payroll, cash handling, cash receipts, cash funs, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
  • Assist General Manager and Corporate Director of Accounting with any additional duties as needed.



  • Minimum high school education
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) Able to multi-task
  • Knowledge of quickbooks or netsuite
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail a must
