Location Overview

Located nine miles north of Laughlin on the Arizona side of Lake Mohave, Katherine landing features RV facilities, boat rentals , boat slips, launch ramp, picnic area, marina, dry storage, restaurant, snack bar, general store and other resort amenities. Boat rentals range from personal watercrafts to 16-foot fishing boats to 18 foot runabouts for waterskiing and exploring, 24-foot patio boats and house boats that sleep up to 14 people.

Responsibilities & Qualifications



General Function:  To ensure that all aspects of maintenance, i.e., landscaping, grounds, vehicles, structures, equipment, etc. are maintained in a thorough and timely manner within the marina.




Oversee/manage staff in the following General Maintenance tasks

  • Water and mow grass in designated areas
  • Weeds to be trimmed in designated areas
  • Trash pick-up throughout the entire recreation areas, roadsides, campgrounds. Maintain trash barrels – keep emptied at all times and all areas around trash are to be kept neat and clean
  • Maintain vehicle and ensure accurate maintenance records are kept for oil and filter changes, tune-ups, tire maintenance, etc.
  • Maintain equipment by keeping in good running order and perform necessary repairs
  • Ensure the following fuel records are kept:
  • Gallons pumped and who pumped it
  • ID of Vehicle fuel is pumped into
  • Monitor low fuel levels
  • Perform necessary repairs as needed and/or requested for the following:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Structure repairs and maintenance 

Management Responsibilities

  • Hire, schedule, discipline and terminate staff as appropriate
  • Appraisal of all water, sewer and electrical issues which need assistance
  • Ensure all purchase and work orders are clearly defined for purpose and urgency if directed
  • Maintain professional and friendly attitude with all management and employees and County personnel
  • Abide by all park rules and regulations


Customer Relations

  • Maintain highest level of customer satisfaction in all aspects of the operations
  • Empower staff to exceed the guests’ expectations whenever possible
  • At all times every employee is to be polite, helpful and courteous to the customers and fellow employees



  • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company vehicle
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years.
  • Able to operate and maintain a company vehicle.
  • Knowledge of operating and maintaining lawn mowers and weed eaters.
  • Basic plumbing and carpentry experience.
  • Ability to manage a team of 2 -10 people
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Requires weekend, night and holiday work.
  • Pass a background check
  • Minimum high school education.
  • General maintenance experience


  • Experience in operating a backhoe, pump truck, forklift and chainsaws.
