Location Overview

Come to work in one of Oregon's most beautiful destinations at Silver Falls Lodge and Conference Center, located in beautiful Silver Falls State Park! We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic barista/server for the cafe located in the historic South Falls Lodge. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications


IMMEDIATE OPENING for Cafe Barista/Server. Typical shift is 8:30-5:00 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, making this a great opportunity for college students or as a second job. 



  • Greets guests warmly and promptly
  • Takes guests’ food and beverage orders
  • Serves guests’ food and beverage orders
  • Prepares food and beverage orders including expresso, beer, wine, snacks,salads, etc..
  • Maintains service station in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift
  • Performs all opening and closing procedures as required
  • Sets up and clears tables as necessary
  • Reports all inventory and supply issues to supervisor





  • Must be at least 18 years old with ability to obtain both Food Handler's and OLCC certifications upon hire
  • Food service, barista, and/or bartending experience preferred but are happy to train the right candidate
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Understanding of dining room service procedures
  • Basic math aptitude
  • Willing and able to work varying shifts
  • Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Able to live onsite for duration of season (optional)
  • Able to follow direction and work in team environment
  • Genuine concern for guests’ lodging experience
  • Possess current Oregon Food Handler’s certification
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid drivers license with clean 3 year history, no DUIs within the last 10 years
  • Requires weekend, night and holiday work.
