Location Overview

Lake Hemet is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains. This property has a 600+ site campground, RV Park, marina, Water Park, high volume camper store and deli, and much, much more.  The scenery is breathtaking no matter which direction your gaze travels. Tall pines, manzanita trees, sage, and giant oaks abound. Remember to pack a camera and binoculars, and keep a watchful eye, as the eagles are often seen soaring above and around the Campground. There are also plenty of Hawks soaring overhead throughout the forest and campground. Come and enjoy camping, fishing, boating and the breath-taking scenery all year round.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position:  Housekeeping Attendant

Reports to:  Kiosk Supervisor

Classification:  Regular and Seasonal, Full-time and Part-Time, Non-Exempt



  • Previous housekeeping cleaning and sanitation experience.




  • Housekeeping/Restroom Management
  • Ability to be trained in necessary cleaning procedures to provide a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and employees
  • Perform cleaning procedures as needed to conform with a safe and pleasant environment
  • Perform cleaning routines in rental lodging, office buildings, restrooms, portable restrooms and campground restrooms
  • Ability to operate washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and vacuum cleaner
  • Ability to read and understand reservation boards


  • Housekeeping
  • Clean and prepare rooms for guests to arrival
  • Upon guests departure inventory all items
  • Notify Housekeeping Supervisor of any needed maintenance
  • Complete all laundry as needed


  • Training and Safety
  • Work in a safe manner at all times. Know and understand the Work Safety Rules for the Company
  • Meet and follow established safety program for all staff following company guidelines and practices
  • Attend orientation training and in-service training to as required by Supervisor regarding policies, work procedures and the use and maintenance of equipment


  • Customer Relations
  • Maintain highest level of customer satisfaction in all aspects of the operations
  • Staff are expected to exceed the guests’ expectations whenever possible
  • At all times every employee is to be polite, helpful and courteous to the customers





  • Must be at least 16 years of age. (must be 21 years old to drive for Company)
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 5 years.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Requires weekend, night and holiday work.

The Housekeeping staff will use various tools and equipment on a daily basis.  Footwear required shall be a high quality leather shoe with non-skid sole providing ankle support.  No open toe sandals or flip flops will be allowed on the job.  Protective guards shall be required for all appropriate occasions: including gloves, goggles, galoshes, masks, long pants, and long sleeve shirts according to the nature of the task.  The incumbent will be knowledgeable in the safety practices and standards set by the company, relative to the work environment he/she operates in.  He/she will also make it a duty to assure that all co-workers are working with those same safety practices and standards.
